Every dollar counted. Thanks for sending your donations!

You did it!

The final statement from Aquatic Control has been paid, and we are finished with the Sonar treatment costs. Thank you to the entire community - your contributions made this possible.

With the milfoil treated we can now safely move ahead with hydro raking the lily pads and other weeds in the lake and lagoons, and we'll be back to you shortly with that information to determine how the community wants to move forward, not simply with the hydro raking treatment but to insure our lake and it's lagoons maintain their usability and beauty in the future.

We've raised $28,000 so far but the summer heat and vacations have dried up contributions.

Our next payment was to be due about this time prior to the second treatment/booster application.
However because we haven't had rain, the concentration of Sonar has not diluted to the point where a booster application is needed now but will be given when conditions warrant.

This gives us a bit of a breather before the next payment is due, but we still need to raise 13,200 more to reach our goal. We've come a long way. We can do this!

We have 200 lake community residents, 28 of them lakefront residents. If our lakefront property owners were to donate another $100 and non lakefront another $50, we'd be very close to our goal.

Will you consider making another contribution? Petra Ludl, Treasurer, LKCC, 44 Knapp Road, Pound Ridge, 10576.

Thanks very much!

CB Sherwood

We're at $17,000 - almost halfway to our goal! We need $24,200 more to reach it, and we've got 6 weeks to do it.

We can do this, but we all need to do our part.

To those property owners who have contributed, thank you for your support! To those owners who haven't, please, don't make your neighbors pick up your share or be the reason we have to postpone the lake work for another year, pushing lagoon treatments out two years!

Action NOW is in all our best interests. The weeds will only get worse, and treating them will only get more expensive.
